My phone is used on another account

Phone numbers can only be associated with a single account. If you want to associate your phone number with a new account, we suggest changing the account phone number or deleting the account that is currently associated with your number.


The deleted account will be deactivated for 30 days and then erased permanently. After that, the phone number will become available to connect to your new account.


To find the account currently associated with your phone number:

1. Log out of the account.

2. Tap Profile in the bottom right.

3. Select Use phone / email / username.

4. Choose Phone and follow the screen.
